WEAK "SWIRL" CLOSE TO HOME

The tropics are not quite but they are not extremely alarming right now. There are several little areas of interest but they all pose little threat to the US.

WEAK LOW PRESSURE CLOSE TO COAST

This is our "close to home" system. But you can hardly call it a system. Notice how it is literally just a "swirl" out in the open waters? That is an EXTREMELY weak system. It is nothing more than swirling puffy clouds right now.

This small entity will slowly make its way toward the coast of NC over the next few days. We will monitor it for development but the vast majority of models keep it very very weak like it currently is.

This swirl could bring some enhanced afternoon storms to the coastal areas as it interacts with a cold front but other than that its impacts appear to be minimal.

We will continue to monitor this as it is a tropical system and could always strengthen.

REST OF THE ATLANTIC

You can see the other 3 areas of interest. Right now none of them pose a threat to the US. And all of them are extremely weak.
